Components

Our component library is the heart of the design system. We provide a variety of basic, atomic components and more complex compositions, based around Chakra for React tech stacks, and Bootstrap for stacks that use Rails and .erb views. If you are interested in adding new things to the library or modifying/extending existing components, please submit a ticket to our Jira project and we’ll get in touch.

Figma

We deliver components and compositions to designers via Figma shared libraries. These leverage the latest Figma variant features to make using them in your files easy. For more information on how to use them, see the Blueprint in Your Designs article.

React

For codebases at HOVER using React, we provide a set of components based on Chakra with a customized theme, packaged for inclusion via NPM. For more information on how to use them, see the Blueprint in Your Code article.

Bootstrap

For codebases at HOVER using Rails, .erb, and Bootstrap, we provide a custom Bootstrap theme delivered over our CDN. Docs for each component show the markup and CSS classes you will want to use. To learn more about how the custom theme works in general, see the Blueprint in Your Code article.
